We are looking for a Principal Psychologist to join the team at Priory Lichfield Road on a full-time basis, working 5 days per week. Based in Walsall, West Midlands, Priory Lichfield Road is a rehabilitation service offering both level 1 and 2 care, all set within a modern, purpose-built centre. It is specifically designed to support both males and females who have severe, complex and enduring mental health needs, which might include treatment-resistant conditions.
What you'll be doing
- You will work independently and make autonomous decisions, while being prepared to discuss complex issues with the Head of Psychology when needed.
- The role requires strong communication with the psychology team, wider clinical team, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- You will use your experience and clinical knowledge to solve problems effectively, alongside bringing a creative approach to facilitating therapy sessions.
- You will also be supported by an Assistant Psychologist once recruited.
