Are you an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist looking to establish or expand a successful private practice within an established, highly respected mental health hospital?
Priory Hospital Ticehurst House is seeking an enthusiastic and patient‑centred Consultant Psychiatrist to join our thriving adult inpatient and outpatient services.
This is a unique opportunity to become part of a genuinely supportive and collaborative team where clinical excellence, multidisciplinary working and professional respect are at the heart of everything we do.
We are particularly interested in consultants who are able to commit to at least three days per week, enabling them to build a successful and sustainable practice whilst becoming an integral member of our clinical community.

- Assess and manage private adult inpatients and outpatients.
- Deliver high-quality evidence-based psychiatric care.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Participate in governance and quality improvement.
- Develop relationships with referrers.
- Maintain appraisal and GMC revalidation requirements.
- What you'll bring to the role
- GMC Specialist Registration in preferably General Adult Psychiatry.
- Substantive NHS Consultant experience (typically at least two years).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
