Priory Adultcare ABI services North West are seeking a Dedicated Visiting Consultant in Neuro-Rehabilitation. We invite an experienced Consultant in Neuro-Rehabilitation to join our team, offering the chance to lead a multidisciplinary team supporting people with neuro-rehabilitation and long-term complex neurological needs. This role is essential for maintaining our high standards of care and providing expert guidance to our dedicated, experienced in-house multidisciplinary team. The Priory Highbank Centre is a 34-bed site with 19 beds providing slow stream neurological rehabilitation for patients with complex clinical needs including tracheostomies, long-term invasive mechanical ventilation, enteral feeding, and others. We require the consultant to be on site for 1 day per week. In addition to the Highbank site, we have Priory Elton Unit , also in Bury, which is a 28-bed site for neurological continuing care services focusing on supporting adults for long-term placements. The consultant cover required at Elton is 1 session per quarter. Oversee the care of service users within your specialty. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, and psychologists. Coordinate with primary care and other specialties (e.g., long-term ventilation team, ENT, etc.). Engage in quality improvement and governance activities. Network with other professional colleagues and referral sources. Maintain professional development and meet revalidation requirements. Candidate Profile: GMC registration with relevant specialist registration. Experience in neuro-rehabilitation, including overseeing care and treatment of patients with complex respiratory needs like tracheostomy. A strong understanding of clinical governance and regulatory frameworks. Successful completion of a DBS check, funded by Priory.
