Althea Park Salary - £46,000 per annum FTE Part-time – 7.5 hours per week
Althea Park has an opportunity for a Dietitian to join our team. This is a part-time role working 7.5 hours per week, with flexibility around how these hours are arranged, such as across two half days. The salary for this role is £9,200 per annum.
Althea Park, Stroud, Gloucestershire is a residential eating disorder service for young people, offering 10 beds in a therapeutic environment alongside a 3-bedded step-down semi-independent service (The Anchor). It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop outside the service and Stroud railway station approximately half a mile away, with national rail links and easy access to the M4 and M5.
What you'll be doing
In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
- Completing dietary and nutritional assessments and developing personalised plans to support the physical wellbeing of our patients.
- Planning, monitoring and reviewing nutritional interventions to ensure they continue to meet patients’ individual needs.
- Managing an assigned caseload, working closely with colleagues across the multidisciplinary team.
- Providing professional advice and guidance to support effective nutritional care.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and sharing relevant information with colleagues.
- Contributing to service development, audit and the use of evidence-based practice.

What you'll bring to the role
Essential for the role
Applicants must hold a BSc or MSc in Dietetics, or a BSc in a relevant science subject with a Postgraduate Diploma or MSc in Dietetics, and must be registered with the HCPC. Experience within the Eating Disorders Service Line is also essential for this role.
