Strathmore House is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team. Strathmore House is nestled in Dresden, Stoke-on-Trent. It offers residential support for 14 males and females who are autistic or have a learning disability. Our team are dedicated to supporting our residents to be as independent as possible and live a happy, healthy and fulfilled life.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents' wellbeing.
- Take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
- Ensure that the people who use our service have any personal needs or requirements met, including personal care, participation in activities and support with daily living tasks.
- Support people who use our service in achieving their outcomes in the way that they choose.
- Complete daily administration including updating person centred support.
While experience of working in a related environment is desirable, it is not essential.
