Priory Hospital Chelmsford is looking to recruit a Receptionist to join the team. This is a part time 20 hours role. The shift times are 8am to 12pm, 12pm-4pm and 4pm-8pm Monday to Friday and Saturday is 8:30am-1:30pm.

What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
- Your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Greets and assists all arrivals promptly at the Priory unit, ensuring they are treated in a courteous, pleasant and efficient manner.
- Ensures that all telephone calls into main reception / switchboard are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
- Carries out administrative tasks as required.
- Ensures the appropriate security passes are issued, directing the visitor to the appropriate areas or individuals within the unit.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- Resilience is key as our work is rewarding but can be challenging.
- The ideal candidate will hold an NVQ Level 1 in a relevant area or GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) and will have experience gained within a customer-facing environment.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of basic principles within their field of study, alongside communication and interpersonal skills developed through direct interaction with customers.
