Priory Hospital North London is looking to recruit a Specialty Doctor to join the team. This is a full time/37.5 Hour role. Located in London, in a peaceful and secluded part of Southgate, Priory Hospital North London is set within a striking Grade I listed building, overlooking beautiful parklands. Since North London first opened its doors in 1986, we have worked tirelessly to establish our excellent reputation as a specialist provider of mental health care.

What you'll be doing

  • You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing.
  • Deliver comprehensive clinical care and expert consultation within the specialty area, managing complex and acute cases with precision.
  • Lead diagnostic evaluations, including ordering and interpreting advanced tests and imaging, to inform evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Perform specialized procedures and interventions in accordance with best practices and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including nurses, allied health professionals, and other specialists—to coordinate holistic patient management.
  • Engage actively in teaching medical students, residents, and junior staff, fostering a learning environment and supporting professional development.
  • Contribute to clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and research projects to advance specialty knowledge and improve patient outcomes.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
