Eden House is looking to recruit a Sessional Therapist. Residential Addiction's care – helping our clients to rediscover life beyond addiction. Eden House is the first service in our brand new Division of Residential Addictions. Branded under “Flourish”, Eden House will be the first Priory therapy-led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.

What you'll be doing

  • You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our service users wellbeing.
  • Deliver one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to individuals dealing with substance use disorders.
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Use evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, motivational interviewing, or relapse prevention techniques.
  • Monitor client progress, document case notes, and contribute to treatment reviews and care planning.
  • Provide crisis intervention and emotional support while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Relevant professional qualifications in counseling, psychotherapy, or a related field, with proven experience working with individuals affected by addiction.

  • Demonstrate the capacity to work independently, manage caseloads effectively, and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Registration with a professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP) is often preferred.
