Full-time | 37.5 hours per week | Site based
£35,292 to £41,953 depending on experience
Mental Health Nurse with 6-12 months post registration experience.

This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses. You will be working on the low secure forensic ward.

Priory Hospital Suttons Manor is a 26-bed specialist forensic low secure service for male patients aged 50 and above, providing step-down care from high and medium secure facilities.

It also offers excellent transport links, including:

  • Close to town of Romford
  • Convenient access is provided by the M25
  • Nearby underground station Theydon Bois, which is on the Central Line
  • Close to Romford railway station
  • Bus stops are a short walk away (Epping Lane bus stop or Passingford Bridge roundabout)

What you'll be doing

You will join the team on the Low Secure Forensic Ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential

  • Hold current professional registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) along with Mental Health.
  • Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests and professional practices.
  • Evidence of post registration continuing professional development.
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality.
