Description
Priory Lakeside View in Willenhall, West Midlands, supports 30 adults with acute mental health needs within a safe, therapeutic environment. We have two male wards in the main building, and a female ward in a separate building. From the point of admission into our acute services, we aim to support people to safely discharge back into the community, where they can continue to progress towards recovery in a less restrictive environment.
What you\’ll be doing
- Greets and assists all arrivals promptly at the Priory unit, and ensures that they are treated in a courteous, pleasant and efficient manner, and directed accordingly.
- Ensures that all telephone calls into main reception / switchboard are dealt with promptly and efficiently within Priory operational standards.
- Carries out administrative tasks as required.
- Ensures the appropriate security passes are issued, as well as then directing the visitor to the appropriate areas or individuals within the unit.
What you\’ll bring to the role
Candidates should hold an NVQ Level 1 in a relevant area or have GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications), with experience gained in a customer-facing environment. The role may involve dealing with patients facing complex and challenging situations, which can increase the sensory and emotional demands, requiring resilience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
