Bedborough House is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Bedborough House, Radstock, Somerset is a residential service supporting seven autistic males and females, and people with a learning disability. It is located in a residential area and is accessible by public transport, with a local bus stop and regular bus links to the town and surrounding areas.

What you'll be doing

We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Maintenance Technician to help maintain a safe, comfortable, and well-presented environment for our residents. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you’ll play an important role in keeping the site running smoothly and ensuring maintenance standards are consistently met.

As part of the role, you will:

  • Carry out a range of general maintenance, repairs and routine checks across the site, reporting faults and issues as required.
  • Complete compliance and safety checks, including fire alarms, bed inspections and vehicle checks, in line with Priory policies and procedures.
  • Support the security and upkeep of the building and grounds, carrying out regular patrols and reporting any damage, incidents or concerns.

What you'll bring to the role

Experience and understanding of building, plumbing, mechanical or electrical maintenance would be desirable for this role.
