Priory Hospital Preston is looking to recruit a HR & Resourcing Administrator to join the team. This is a part time role of 30 hours per week. Hours can be discussed at interview, working hours are Monday - Friday. Based in Bartle, near Preston, Priory Hospital Preston is a 50-bedded mental health hospital, offering an extensive range of services, delivered across four wards. We can support adult males and females with acute mental health needs and eating disorders, and specialise in the management and treatment of these conditions. Priory’s acute services aim to allow more people to be treated closer to home and we support the NHS to repatriate out-of-area patients back to local areas.

What you'll be doing

  • Provides efficient, professional and effective administrative support within a Priory unit ensuring the Company’s human resources policies and procedures are used appropriately in relation to the employment of staff at the unit.
  • Assists in the recruitment and selection of employees to the unit by providing administrative support to managers from advertising of the post through to the new employee taking up appointment and organising induction as directed.
  • Carries out all pre-and post-employment checks to ensure recruitment is legal and safe and meets regulatory standards.

What you'll bring to the role

Experience working within a human resource department. Communication is an important part of the role and will regularly require some judgement, as information will need to be gathered and exchanged to facilitate administrative processes and relationship management. The range of communications within this role can be contentious from time to time. The range of priorities and deadlines will also put demands on the post holder.
