Priory Hospital Preston is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a part time role of 25 hours per week. We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services. We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. Working hours between 7am-5pm, Mon-Sun, precise shift teams to be determined at interview. Based in Bartle, near Preston, Priory Hospital Preston is a 50-bedded mental health hospital, offering an extensive range of services, delivered across four wards. We can support adult males and females with acute mental health needs and eating disorders, and specialise in the management and treatment of these conditions.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role:

- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
