Priory Richmond House is looking to recruit a Staff Nurse to join the team. Based in Harleston, Norfolk, Richmond House is a level 2 rehabilitation service for those with a learning disability. We can support adult females with a range of needs, including those who are on the autism spectrum, those with personality disorders, complex mental health needs, and those with a history of offending behaviours. We support people to improve their skills and strengthen their independence, enabling safe continuation of care and transition into community placements.
What you'll be doing
- You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patient’s named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
- Monitor and review Nursing Care plans.
What you'll bring to the role

- A qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with active NMC registration and 6–12 months post‑registration experience, including completion of a preceptorship programme, demonstrates sound knowledge of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional standards.
- They show evidence of ongoing post‑registration professional development and display a positive attitude toward change, improvement, and quality.
- With the ability to adopt flexible and innovative approaches to practice, they also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Their experience includes a minimum of six months working within a Mental Health or Learning Disabilities care environment, supported by continued development within their professional field.
