Priory Loughshore is looking to recruit a Cook to join the team. This is a part time, 16 hour role working Saturday and Sunday between 9:30 and 5:30. Loughshore is located in the Jordanstown area of Belfast, on the County Antrim coastline. We are in a quiet area, off a main road, and surrounded by pleasant, private grounds, which our residents help to maintain. Our home offers residential support for 16 people with a primary learning disability diagnosis, people on the autism spectrum and those with behaviours that may challenge.

What you'll be doing:

  • You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our residents.
  • Responsible for planning, preparing, cooking and serving meals within a Priory Residential Home for 15 residents.
  • Ensuring all kitchen activities and operations comply with operational standards and statutory regulations.
  • Shared responsibility for maintaining appropriate records and data as required under the company’s Assured Safe Catering policies and guidelines.
