Priory Hospital Bristol is seeking a qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience and active NMC Registration. This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses, and we are currently not offering sponsorship for this position.

You will be working on the Rehab and Recovery ward, providing support for people with complex mental health needs. Our services align with the recommendations of the Joint Commissioning Panel for Mental Health (JCPMH), ensuring our patients receive the highest quality care to enable an appropriate transition back home or into community services. We strive to deliver patient-centred, holistic care to support our patients in becoming more independent.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with patients and their families.
  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring effective communication with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Supervising and supporting nursing and healthcare assistant staff.
  • Acting as Nurse in Charge when required.
  • Contributing to clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensuring compliance with safeguarding, medicines management, and professional standards.
  • Supporting the development of junior staff and student nurses while maintaining personal professional development.

Essential qualifications include being a qualified Registered Adult Nurse with 6-12 months post-registration experience and completed preceptorship or equivalent programme. Desirable experience includes working in Rehab and Recovery.
