This role is to work across two wards: a 12 bed Rehabilitation & Recovery ward and an 18 bed Acute Ward. Priory Hospital Newbury, located in Berkshire, is a level 2 rehabilitation service which supports male adults with mental health needs, who are working towards a life back in the community. We also provide an acute service for local male and female patients who are in crisis and require a short admission for support. It also offers excellent transport links.

What you'll be doing:

  • Join the team on the Rehabilitation and Recovery ward and the Acute Ward.
  • Play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.
  • Assess and respond to client referrals, creating effective, person-centred therapy plans.
  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based interventions.
  • Manage a caseload, maintaining regular communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Keep accurate clinical records, reports, and case notes.
  • Provide guidance to colleagues and contribute to audits, research, and service improvements.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team to ensure high-quality client care.

What you’ll bring to the role:

This role requires a relevant Masters degree as a minimum and a recognised post graduate qualification together with accreditation from the relevant professional institution (BABCP, BCP, BPS or equivalent).
