Priory Beacon House is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team on a casual flexible basis working as part of a team to engage with and support our Residential Addiction's care service. Within this role you will be helping our clients to rediscover life beyond addiction. Beacon House is a new location as part of our therapy‑led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.

What you'll be doing

  • You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
  • Your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, but your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Whether you're assisting with day‑to‑day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Resilience is key as our work is rewarding but can be challenging; no two days are the same!
  • Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
  • Prior experience working in a healthcare, social care, or addiction support setting is preferred, ideally with individuals facing substance misuse challenges.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work empathetically and maintain professional boundaries.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care or addiction support are preferred but not always mandatory.
  • Reliability and the ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends are required, along with a genuine commitment to supporting clients through their recovery journey.
