Beacon House is looking to recruit a Team Leader to join their team. This is a full-time role with a salary of £27,202.5 per annum. Day shifts are from 9am to 5pm. Beacon House, part of Priory, is a welcoming 17-bed residential service based in Melton Mowbray. It is home to Flourish, our innovative, therapy-led addiction treatment programme, which offers tailored support for a wide range of addictions in a calm, comfortable setting.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our residents' wellbeing.
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
- Provide support with day-to-day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
- Help people reach their potential through both practical and emotional support.
- Supervise colleagues, lead team meetings and support your peers with their performance and professional development.
- Lead support planning and act as point of contact in the absence of site leadership.
- Assist with the management of site petty cash and client funds.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes.
- Assist and support residents to attend medical appointments.
- Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff.
- Encourage participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth.
