Priory Loughshore is looking to recruit a Maintenance Person to join the team. This is a part time role of 20 hours. Loughshore is located in the Jordanstown area of Belfast, on the County Antrim coastline. We are in a quiet area, off a main road, and surrounded by pleasant, private grounds, which our residents help to maintain. Our home offers residential support for 16 people with a primary learning disability diagnosis, people on the autism spectrum and those with behaviours that may challenge. People with physical health needs are also supported at the home. Our team are dedicated to supporting our residents to develop the skills needed for them to live a healthier and happy life. We want to help each person we care for to feel a sense of belonging in their own home and also within their own community.

What you'll be doing:
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our residents. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
Maintains a well-decorated, safe and comfortable environment throughout the site, in line with quality standards, and follows work processes which comply with statutory regulations. Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all site areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team. Undertakes regular internal and external patrols of the unit and its grounds, ensuring that all the windows and doors are closed and locked as appropriate to the time of day. Carry out compliance testing (i.e. fire alarms, bed inspections, vehicle checks) as instructed by the Maintenance Manager.
