Priory Hospital Roehampton is looking to recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist (Visiting Consultant). This is a self‐employed role. Priory Hospital Roehampton, a registered hospital in London, is a welcoming and highly respected rehab facility, offering expert mental health and addiction treatment. We support people facing a wide range of mental health challenges, providing specialist care for depression, anxiety and addictions. Our team offers tailored treatment for substance addictions, including alcohol, cocaine and heroin, as well as behavioural addictions like gambling. We also provide outpatient support for adults with eating disorders.
What you'll be doing
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing.
- Serve as Consultant and Responsible Clinician, leading patient care planning and multidisciplinary collaboration across inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Assess and manage complex cases, chair MDT/CPA meetings, and liaise with patients, families, and external stakeholders.
- Provide clinical leadership alongside the Ward Manager, ensuring compliance with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Contribute to governance and quality improvement through active participation in ward, CAMHS, and service development meetings.
- Engage in academic activities including teaching, case presentations, audit, research, and ongoing professional development.
