Priory Beacon House is looking to recruit a Bank Support Worker to join the team on a casual flexible basis working as part of a team to engage with and support our Residential Addiction's care service. Within this role you will be helping our clients to rediscover life beyond addiction. Beacon House is a new location as part of our therapy‑led residential programme for people seeking meaningful, sustainable recovery from addiction and related behaviours.
What you'll be doing:
- You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
- Your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Whether you're assisting with day‑to‑day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Provide practical and emotional support to individuals affected by substance misuse, helping them work towards recovery goals and greater independence.
- Build positive, professional relationships with service users, offering encouragement, guidance, and person‑centred support.
- Assist clients in accessing healthcare, housing, benefits, education, training, and other community resources to promote wellbeing and social inclusion.
- Maintain accurate records, complete support plans and risk assessments, and contribute to safeguarding and health.
