Priory Hospital Avesbury House is looking to recruit a HR & Resourcing Co-ordinator to join the team. This is a full time 37.5 hour role. Located near picturesque national parkland, Priory Hospital Avesbury House in Edmonton, North London, is a forensic low secure facility for men with mental health needs, who require continuing care and treatment. We have 24 beds which are fully funded by Barnet, Enfield and Haringey NHS Trust (BEH) and specifically by the regional secure unit at Chase Farm Hospital.
What you'll be doing
- You'll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
- Your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
- Assist with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after.
- Work closely with hiring managers, Central Talent Acquisition team, and external resourcing partners, to coordinate recruitment activities.
- Support the site lead to work closely with the Central Talent Acquisition team to agree recruitment methods where there are resourcing challenges across site or within specific teams.
- Ensure that the recruitment process is adhered to and delivers a positive candidate experience in a timely manner.
- Work in conjunction with Central Onboarding team to ensure new hires are offered, processed and onboarded in line with the sites 'Time To Hire' targets or KPI's.
- Liaise with candidates throughout the Onboarding process ensuring all relevant documentation is obtained in accordance with Priory's safer recruitment policy and Right to work statutory requirements.
What you'll bring to the role

- The post-holder will be CIPD Level 5 qualified with relevant working knowledge or have a minimum of three years' practical experience.
- Proven experience in managing employee relations cases and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current UK employment legislation.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, along with excellent attention to detail, are essential.
- Previous experience as an HR Administrator or Assistant within a commercial environment either in a generalist or specialist capacity is required.
- Experience within the healthcare sector is desirable but not essential.
