Priory Hospital Altrincham provides expert treatment for a range of mental health conditions and addictions. The hospital is comprised of three inpatient units, providing specialist care for adults with a range of mental health challenges and addictions. Altrincham also provides established, evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder.
What you’ll be doing:
You will be required to identify and deliver appropriate and relevant treatments and interventions within the given field of therapy, in order to promote and develop the mental, emotional, physical and social well-being of clients; liaising with family and carers.
What you’ll bring to the role:
- The role holder will possess a relevant accreditation from a recognised post‑graduate counselling or therapy qualification, ensuring they have the necessary credentials for the position.
- We are looking for CAMHS as well as Adult and specialisms, including Schema, EMDR and CBT.
- In addition, they will bring relevant experience to the role, enabling them to effectively manage client needs.
- Highly sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the individual must be able to gain the trust and build the confidence of clients to ensure the effectiveness and success of treatments and interventions.
