Priory Hospital Altrincham is looking to recruit to join the team. This is a full-time role of 34 hours per week. The hospital is comprised of two inpatient units, providing specialist care for adults with a range of mental health challenges and addictions. Altrincham also provides established, evidence-based outpatient treatment for a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, stress, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and bipolar disorder. We also offer private autism assessments for adults and children at Priory Wellbeing Centre Manchester.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
  • Your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Responsible for the security, confidentiality and accuracy of patient and financial records.
  • Ensures the integrity, probity and reasonableness of local financial controls in respect of the admissions processes, in order to minimise financial risk via the correct implementation of local procedures.
  • Greets new patients & pupils, as well as their families on or shortly after admission, ensuring that any necessary documentation is completed at this time.
  • As appropriate, collects any self-funding element of the care.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Resilience is key as our work is rewarding but can be challenging.
  • Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
  • The role holder should be educated to GCSE (Grades A-C) or equivalent standard, and should possess a good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience within an administrative, customer service, clinical or other appropriate background.
