Priory Hospital Glasgow is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a part time role of 27.5 hours per week. We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services. We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with full training and the opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference every day.
Working hours: 7.30-12.30 Mon-Fri with the occasional working weekend required. 5 over 7 days.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role:
- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Good attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
