About Priory Hospital Woking: Priory Hospital Woking is a leading mental health and addiction rehabilitation hospital, delivering world‑class inpatient and outpatient treatment in a safe, therapeutic environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Full accountability for the overall performance and commercial success of the hospital.
  • Lead and manage the Senior Management Team (SMT), ensuring delivery across all key operational and clinical objectives.
  • Monitor and drive performance against Quality Performance Indicators (QPIs), implementing improvement plans where required.
  • Maintain oversight of clinical risk management, working closely with the Managing Director.
  • Ensure the hospital consistently meets agreed targets for:
    • Business planning
    • Financial performance (including revenue and EBITDA)
    • Quality and care standards
  • Use management information and data insights to identify underperformance and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Take an active leadership role in budget setting and cost control, working in partnership with the Finance Manager.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and governance requirements as Registered Manager.
  • Drive innovation, service development and continuous improvement across the site.
  • Lead, inspire and develop a diverse, multidisciplinary team, fostering a high-performance culture.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience, ideally within a healthcare or similar regulated setting.
  • Proven experience in operational and financial management, including cost control and budget accountability.
  • Strong experience in leading and developing diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to make informed decisions in complex or challenging situations.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and decision‑making skills.
  • Degree‑level education or a relevant health/social care professional qualification or registration.
  • Passion for delivering high‑quality patient care.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic environment.

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualification.
  • Experience leading service transformation or innovation programmes.
