By encouraging people to take control and have belief in their potential, we can make positive outcomes a reality for everyone, regardless of age or presumed ability. We want to support the people we care for through residential to community living. This, paired with our personalisation agenda, enables us to help the people we support to lead fulfilled, independent lives.

  • We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future.
  • Your positive attitude and passion for providing high quality care and support will be your key strengths, but you’ll also have a friendly, patient and positive approach to work.
  • As a Support Worker, you will assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of residents.
  • You will provide support with day to day activities, whilst encouraging and promoting independent living.
  • Supporting with personal care tasks, such as washing, dressing, eating and personal care.
  • Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and changing bed clothes.
  • Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
  • Assistance and support to attend medical appointments.
  • Observe, monitor, and record physical and emotional well-being, and quickly report any changes to senior staff.
  • Supporting the development of important family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
  • Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature.
  • Empathy, understanding and patience.
  • Ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Ability to understand and follow policies and procedures.
  • The ability to anticipate and respond to challenges.
  • Competent in verbal and written English.
  • A healthcare qualification is desirable, but not essential.

To be considered for this role, we require you to have the right to work in the UK.
