We are looking for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner at South West - South Peninsula. This is located predominantly at Riverview but will require travel within the region. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week.

  • As a PBS Practitioner, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.

What you'll bring to the role

  • They will have a background in supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism, an understanding of relevant legal frameworks, and the ability to work in demanding situations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and report-writing skills are essential, along with experience delivering PBS training and reducing restrictive practices.
  • A full driver’s license and access to a vehicle for business use are also required.
