Priory Life Works House is looking to recruit a Deputy Manager to join the team. This is a full-time/37.5 hour role working Monday to Friday. It is home to Flourish – our pioneering therapy-led addiction programme – offering bespoke treatment for a wide range of addictions in a calm, homely environment. Set within a supportive community, Life Works House provides a safe haven away from the stresses of daily life, forming part of our wider network of residential addiction treatment homes across the UK. Delivered by qualified therapists in a non-medical setting, Flourish offers an alternative to traditional hospital-based treatment. It’s ideal for people who don’t need a medical detox or ongoing medical care but would benefit from structured therapy, community connection, and practical tools to achieve meaningful, sustainable recovery.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' wellbeing.
- Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients.
- Ensure managerial tasks are completed in the absence of the Service Manager, deputising for them.
- Contribute to or be responsible for key elements of the admissions (ATP) assessment.
- Support the Therapy Team with planning admissions and discharges.
- Maintain and update all reports and records via Nourish and hold accountability for updating Regulatory folders.
- Ensure compliance with good practice guidelines and legislative, statutory, and organisational requirements.
- Contribute to the preparation, implementation, embedding, and sustaining of governance processes.
