Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services. We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday. Set within picturesque landscaped gardens in Stockport, Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal offers a range of comprehensive inpatient mental health services for young people and adults. The focus of our service is to help people to live their best life in a safe and supportive environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
- Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
- Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
- Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
- Supporting colleagues where required
What you'll bring to the role:
- Resilience is key; no two days are the same!
- Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows.
- Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
- Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
