Princes Street is looking for a Support Worker to join the team on a permanent basis. Due to the needs of a resident, we are looking for males only, as a genuine occupational requirement in line with the Equality Act 2010. Princes Street is located in Roath, near Cardiff. The home provides residential support for five males who have a learning disability and mental health needs. We are set in a lovely suburban area, close to shops and not far from the city centre. Our home is dedicated to providing support and promoting independence in our residents’ day-to-day lives, including with their daily living skills, budgeting skills and behavioural support. Our team are committed to providing the people we care for with a voice and a choice, ensuring involvement in their support.
What you'll be doing:
- You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our residents.
- While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
