Glebe House is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team. This is a bank role. Glebe House is a residential service located in the Georgian market town of Caistor, near Marken Rasen, Lincolnshire. The home supports 24 males and females with mental health needs. We are located semi‑rurally, on the north‑west edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds. Glebe House can support individuals to step down from hospital settings. We can also support people who have other conditions or needs alongside their primary mental health diagnosis. This includes people with:

  • A learning disability or individuals on the autism spectrum
  • Mild to moderate behaviours that challenge
  • Communication difficulties
  • Epilepsy
  • Diabetes
  • Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

What you'll be doing:

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the service and to support the wellbeing of our patients. Whether you're assisting with day‑to‑day operations, supporting with care requirements, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

  • You will ensure our residents have any personal needs or requirements met; including any personal care, participation in activities or support with daily living tasks.
  • You'll complete daily admin including updating person‑centred support and care plans, updating charts and completing accurate daily notes.
  • Maintain professional relationships whilst developing a good rapport with the people who use our service, their family, colleagues, visitors and other stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and guidance to less experienced staff undertaking similar duties.
