Priory Elton is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team part time, 15hrs. We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services. We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with full training and the opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference every day.

We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday. The Elton Unit is located on the outskirts of Bury, Greater Manchester. It is a 28-bedded specialist care home which provides residential and nursing support to adults aged 18 years and older who have a brain injury.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
  • Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
  • Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
  • Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
  • Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
  • Supporting colleagues where required

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Resilience is key as our work is rewarding but can be challenging
  • Your natural empathy will help you support others through both the highs and lows
  • Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
  • Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
