What you'll be doing

You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, partnering with hiring managers and the Central Talent Acquisition team to attract, screen, and onboard high-quality candidates in line with recruitment best practices.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding and compliance, ensuring all pre-employment checks, documentation, DBS renewals, professional accreditations, and mandatory training were completed within required timeframes.
  • Support employee engagement and retention initiatives, including colleague engagement surveys interviews, action planning, and meetings to improve employee experience.
  • Provide HR operational support and employee relations guidance, managing absence processes, occupational health referrals, return-to-work interviews, investigations, grievances, and policy compliance in collaboration with Regional HR.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and lead administrative processes, overseeing personnel files, payroll support, HR documentation, meeting minutes, and the day-to-day management of the onsite Resourcing and HR team.

What you'll bring to the role

Essential for the role: The post-holder will have strong communication skills, relationship-building skills and excellent attention to detail. Working towards CIPD would be ideal but not essential.
