About Lotus Ward
Lotus Ward is a 10‑bedded, mixed‑gender specialist eating disorder unit offering a comprehensive and diverse therapy programme. The ward focuses on delivering personalised treatment, support, and therapy for individuals primarily diagnosed with Anorexia Nervosa. Patients may also present with co‑morbid mental or physical health conditions, including Autism, PTSD, or Personality Disorders. Lotus is a locked unit; however, patients may be granted leave on an individual basis by their Consultant, depending on their progress.
What you’ll be doing
As a Healthcare Assistant on Lotus Ward, you will provide day‑to‑day support to patients with eating disorders, assisting with meals, monitoring wellbeing, and promoting healthy routines. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans, support patients in developing coping strategies, and encourage engagement in therapeutic activities. You will also help maintain a safe, positive, and structured ward environment while supporting patients throughout their recovery journey.
