Priory Hospital Kemple View is looking to recruit a Workforce Co-ordinator to join the team. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week. Located in Blackburn, Lancashire, Priory Hospital Kemple View is a 90-bedded hospital, offering level 2 rehabilitation and secure services for adult males. We can support people with a mental health condition and/or a personality disorder.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients.
  • Your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone.
  • Assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after.
  • The role will be fully accountable for ensuring that the Priory internal rostering system is updated for all the wards in the hospital.
  • Liaising with Ward Managers to ensure permanent employees are rostered a minimum of 8-12 weeks in advance including appropriate planning for holiday and training in line with the ward staffing ladders.
  • Seeking to fill vacancies in the shifts with overtime and bank in the first instance.

  • Ideally experience at roster management but not essential.
  • Healthcare experience desirable.
  • Experience of working in a standalone role.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced, changing environment and demonstrable experience of managing own workload in this environment.
