Woodbourne – Seeking a Private Consultant Psychiatrist. Priory Hospital Woodbourne, located in a peaceful and picturesque suburb of South West Birmingham, is a specialised addiction rehab centre, providing expert treatment for a range of addictions, including alcohol, drugs and behavioural addictions. Our specialist addiction facility, The Manor Ward, is where our team deliver exceptional levels of treatment and care to patients. All treatment is tailored to your individual needs and structured within National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) guidelines.

The Opportunity:

We invite an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team on an independent basis, offering the chance to build and manage a private practice providing inpatient, outpatient and day‑care services at our site. This role is integral to maintaining high standards of care and providing expert guidance to dedicated staff. What you’ll be doing

  • Assess and treat a diverse mix of inpatient and outpatient patients.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists, nurses, healthcare assistants and dietician.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • GMC registration with relevant specialist registration.
