Priory Lichfield Road has an opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team. This is a bank role with flexibility, offering shifts for days and nights: 7.30am – 20.00pm and nights 19.30pm – 08.00am. Priory Lichfield Road is a specialist in rehabilitation and complex mental health needs, conveniently located in Bloxwich, Walsall, benefiting from excellent public transport links and easy access to major roads and motorways.
What you'll be doing:
- You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our patients' wellbeing.
- Assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of all patients.
- Providing practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing, and toileting activities.
- Observing and monitoring the wellbeing of patients, ensuring that any unusual occurrences are promptly referred to senior staff/the primary nurse and documented as appropriate.
What you'll bring to the role:
- Educated to a minimum of NVQ Level 1 or GCSE standard in Mathematics and English.
