Priory Hospital Solihull is looking to recruit an Activities Coordinator to join the team. This is a full‑time role of 37.5 hours a week, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays. You will need to be able to drive both a manual and an automatic car.

Located in Meriden, Warwickshire, Priory Hospital Solihull is a 31‑bedded hospital supporting the NHS by offering level 2 rehabilitation services for males.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be part of a compassionate team committed to patients’ wellbeing.
  • Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
  • Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of patients.
  • Support senior staff with patient screening and assessments as part of the care and therapy planning process.
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver group and individual recreational and occupational activities.
  • Observe, record, and report patient responses to the assigned clinician as appropriate.
  • Ensure the effective, timely, and accurate updating of clinical records, case files, and computerised information systems.
  • Contribute to surveys, audits, and clinical research projects assisting with collection, analysis, and presentation of data and information.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Educated to GCSE/O-Level standard (A–C) or holding a relevant NVQ Level 2.
  • Experience gained within a related clinical or therapeutic environment.
  • Well‑developed communication, observational, and listening skills.
  • Drivers must have held a full driver’s licence for three years or more, valid in accordance with statutory requirements for driving in the UK.
