Llanarth Court is looking to recruit a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join the team. We have a Secure 95 beds, male and female, 18+ and BTPs 3 secure, 2 R&R. This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours. We also have an additional facility within the grounds of the hospital, offering opportunities for individuals who require bespoke packages of care, as part of our bespoke therapeutic placement (BTP) offering. What you’ll be doing
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients' well-being. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
- Deliver prescribed care to a defined group within an agreed framework.
- Assess, plan and deliver, with the patient and their carer/family, nursing care which takes account of patient choice and wishes and acting as the patient’s named nurse.
- Accurately observe and engage with patients in order to assess their need and evaluate their progress.
What you’ll bring to the role

The ideal candidate is a qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with 6-12 months of post-registration experience, active NMC registration, and completion of a preceptorship programme. A positive attitude and a strong commitment to continuous improvement, quality, and embracing change are essential qualities for this role.
