Priory Hospital Llanarth Court is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join the team. This is a full time 37.5 hours role. Priory Hospital Llanarth Court, located in the rural area of Usk, Monmouthshire, offers secure services for adult males and females.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be part of a dedicated and compassionate team, all working together to ensure the smooth running of the hospital and to support the wellbeing of our patients. While your role doesn’t involve providing direct care, your contribution is vital in helping to maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for everyone. Whether you're assisting with day-to-day operations, keeping things organised, or ensuring our spaces are well looked after, your support plays an important part in creating a positive experience for those who live and work here.
- Maintains a well-decorated, safe and comfortable environment throughout the site, in line with quality standards, and follows work processes which comply with statutory regulations.
- Complete on call duties.
- Ensures that Priory minimum standards are delivered in all site areas in a timely and efficient manner, as part of a team.
- Identifies and reports damage, faults and other related issues to the Maintenance Manager (and then actions as agreed) to ensure that environmental conditions continue to meet quality standards and statutory regulations.

The ideal candidate will have basic numeracy and literacy skills, with a strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Experience or an understanding of a building, plumbing, mechanical, or electrical discipline would be desirable.
