Priory Carpets and Flooring is looking for an experienced, customer-focused sales professional to join our Leamington Spa showroom. This is a varied, senior-feeling role that combines consultative showroom sales with professional in‐home measuring, technical assessment and estimating. You will work with customers making considered, often high-value decisions about their homes. From the first showroom conversation through to final quotation and confirmed order, you will take ownership of the customer journey, providing clear advice, technical confidence and a consistently high standard of service.

The role is split between the showroom and customers' homes. In the showroom, you will guide customers through Priory's premium flooring ranges using a consultative, design‐aware approach. In customers' homes, you will carry out accurate measurements, assess subfloor conditions and access constraints, and produce clear, professional quotations that reflect the specific requirements of each project.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Consultative showroom sales across premium flooring ranges
  • Managing enquiries from first contact to confirmed order
  • Professional in-home measuring and technical assessment
  • Producing accurate quotations and floor plans
  • Building long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals
  • Achieving strong conversion rates and contributing to store performance

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in consultative retail sales, ideally within flooring, carpets or home interiors
  • Is confident working in customers' homes and taking responsibility for measurements and estimates
  • Has strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and colleagues
  • Is motivated by delivering quality work and seeing projects through properly
  • Holds a full UK driving licence

This role will suit someone who wants more responsibility, autonomy and professional pride than a typical retail sales position, and who enjoys combining customer relationships with technical accuracy in a premium retail environment.
