Riverbank is looking to recruit a Support Worker to join the team. This full‑time position is 37.5 hours per week, spread over three days, and includes a mixture of day and night shifts with weekend work. Shift times are: Days 8:00 am–8:30 pm; Nights 8:00 pm–8:30 am. Pay is £13.45 per hour. The role is located in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, supporting 24 residents with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating and personal hygiene.
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bed clothes.
- Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals.
- Assisting and supporting residents to attend medical appointments.
- Observing, monitoring and recording physical and emotional well‑being, and reporting any changes to senior staff.
- Supporting the development of family connections and liaising with specialists, including Speech & Language Therapists and Learning Disability teams.
- Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote involvement and personal growth.
