We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to join our team in Hull (HU7). This is a full time role. 08:00 - 20:30 / 20:00 - 08:30. £13.95 per hour. It would be ideal if you have previous experience gained in a similar role. However, while this is valuable, we are looking for individuals who display the right values and behaviours in order to make a difference to people’s lives. You should be keen to learn and show compassion to care for the people we support.

What you'll be doing

  • You will be part of a compassionate team committed to our residents’ wellbeing.
  • Provide support with day‑to‑day activities, encouraging and promoting independent living.
  • Assist qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
  • Undertake routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate wellbeing, dignity, and treatment of our residents and tenants.
  • Supervise and support a team in the delivery of person‑centred care, encouraging independence and life skills.
  • Support tenants in a person‑centred way, including personal care, participation in activities, and daily living skills.
  • Act as a positive role model providing supervision, guidance, and professional development.
  • Plan staff shifts and rotas, and complete daily administration of electronic and paper records.
  • Support staff and individuals in maintaining health and wellbeing, liaising with specialists when needed.
  • Encourage the individual’s participation and integration in the local community.
  • Promote an innovative approach and a positive culture, embedding the REACH standards.
  • Ensure colleagues comply with company policies and procedures.
