Levitt Mill & Barn is looking to recruit a Female Nights Support Worker to join the team.
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: Full‑Time. 30‑40 hours per week
Shifts: 10 PM – 8 AM – Weekend work will be included
Levitt Mill & Barn is located on the outskirts of the small town of Maltby, close to Rotherham. It offers residential support for 11 people with learning disabilities and/or autism. The setting is a semi‑rural listed building surrounded by woodland and a small stream. The team is dedicated to supporting residents to live independently by developing daily living and social skills in a safe and homely environment.
What you’ll be doing
- You will be part of a compassionate team committed to residents’ wellbeing. Using a personalised approach and proven therapies, you will assist qualified staff with assessment and implementation of individual care plans, undertake routine tasks and activities, and support well‑being, dignity and treatment of residents.
- Supporting with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and eating
- Performing light housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming and changing bedclothes
- Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
- Supporting attendance at medical appointments
- Observing, monitoring and recording physical and emotional well‑being, and promptly reporting changes to senior staff
- Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities
