Priority Healthcare have an exciting opportunity for a Complex Care Support Worker/Care Assistant looking for a new challenge in the Whitley Bay area. This is an excellent opportunity to support an individual with cerebral palsy in a fully adapted house. We would love to work with support workers who share our belief that disability is not a barrier.

About the Role:

As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide essential care to our client with complex physical and mental health conditions, helping them to live as independently as possible.

Salary & Benefits:

  • 8 hours Sunday (Flexible timings) £17/hour + potential for additional hours during the week at £15/hr - PAYE + Holiday pay

Client and Role:

Our client is a 16 year old male who lives with cerebral palsy and uses a wheelchair for mobility. The client requires 2:1 support for all aspects of personal and domestic care, as well as support within the community and manual handling.

Successful Applicant:

  • Must drive and hold a Full UK license
  • Must have experience with complex care (brain injuries, cerebral palsy)
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
