Pay rate: £16 per hour

Job Type: 2 afternoons a week (Tuesday & Wednesday) 13:30 – 18:30 plus one weekend day shift - 6 hours

Must: Drive (UK license- manual or automatic)

Company and Role:

We are currently recruiting a Children’s Support Worker to provide care for a young male in their own home. Due to an ABI, our client has cerebral palsy and delayed physical development. He lives at home with his parents. He attends mainstream primary school and uses mobility devices such as a power wheelchair, walker and standing frame at home. Our client will need support picking up from school, then attending activities/therapies if scheduled, as well as providing snacks and support with homework. Our client is fun and energetic, so we are looking for someone dynamic who is keen to get involved in activities, whilst also being able to provide appropriate boundaries when needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working with young children is essential
  • Experience supporting children with complex care needs
  • Driver with access to a vehicle
  • Compassionate, reliable, and person-centred approach

Shifts Available:

  • 2 Afternoon shifts
  • 1 weekend day shift
