A fantastic bank opportunity has arisen for the role of a Support Worker in the Preston, Garstang area. This is an excellent opportunity looking after a female living in her own home. The client lives with Cerebral Palsy and needs support to help encourage an independent life.

We are searching for an experienced Support Worker who is looking for a new challenge in complex care supporting our client to be as independent as possible. Please note that previous experience with Cerebral Palsy is required for this role.

Salary & Benefits:

Client and Role:

  • Our client is a female and this will be a 2-1 role.
  • They live with Cerebral Palsy and use a wheelchair for all mobility.
  • Personal care and medication administration is required.
  • Our individual likes to go out into the community for various activities.

Successful Applicant:

  • Must hold a full and valid UK driving license and have access to a vehicle, as the role involves driving the client into the community.
  • Previous experience in complex care and PEG feeding.
  • Able to work unsociable hours (evenings, nights, and weekends).
  • Female support worker is required for this role.
