How to prepare for a job interview at Priority Recruitment

Know Your Client's Needs

Before the interview, take some time to research the specific needs of the client you'll be supporting. Understanding their background, interests, and care requirements will show your potential employer that you're genuinely invested in making a difference.

Showcase Relevant Experience

Be ready to discuss your previous experience with complex conditions like brain injuries or epilepsy. Prepare specific examples of how you've handled personal care, moving and handling, or PEG feeding, as this will demonstrate your competence and confidence in the role.

Highlight Your Flexibility

Since the role requires a commitment to various shifts, emphasise your flexibility and willingness to adapt. Mention any past experiences where you successfully managed different schedules or worked in varying environments to showcase your adaptability.

Engage with Their Interests

Since the client has a keen interest in sports, particularly football and cycling, think about how you can incorporate these activities into your support role. Discussing ways to engage the client in their interests during the interview can set you apart as a candidate who truly cares about enhancing their quality of life.
